NFL Week 7 injuries Alvin Kamara and Davante Adams out Mitchell Trubisky questionable

Things got dark for the NFL as a whole when . With more information on that still to come, it's another reminder of just how brutal the 2019 season has been on starting quarterbacks. That's not the only position getting beat up mightily though, as seen in the absences of All-Pro offensive lineman , All-Pro running back and a slew of talent on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. From in New York to in Chicago and many more, injuries are beginning to pile up in a big way acro s the board as teams march toward the midseason mark. Some key players will see a return to the field, but others didn't fare as well in practices this week, with a list of stars having already been ruled out on Friday. As the final injury reports file in from around the league, we now know who has a shot at playing, and who'll be sidelined. at (-3)Cardinals:DE Zach Allen (neck), RB D.J. Foster (hamstring) OUT; RB David Johnson (ankle), DL Zach Kerr (ankle), LB Ezekiel Turner (hamstring), TE Jacob Josefson Women Jersey Maxx Williams (ankle), LB Dennis Gardeck (ankle), WR Christian Kirk (ankle), P Andy Lee (hip), S Charles Washington (shoulder), OL Joshua Miles (illne s) QUESTIONABLEGiants:CB (concu sion), WR Sterling Shepard (concu sion) OUTYou know who you don't see here? Saquon Barkley. He's been removed from the injury report for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain that cost him multiple games, and although the Giants haven't officially ruled him in against the Cardinals, the fact he isn't present on the final report e sentially does just that. With his likely return, the absence of Allen, Kerr and two linebackers will make it more difficult to contain the All-Pro back. The Giants are healthier than they've been in a long time, but Daniel Jones will mi s Shepard in the pa sing game. at (-1)Texans:OG Tytus Howard (knee), OL Greg Mancz (concu sion), CB Bradley Roby (hamstring) OUT; S Tashaun Gipson, Sr. (hip, wrist), CB Johnathan Joseph (hamstring) QUESTIONABLEColts:WR Parris Campbell (abdominal), DE Tyquan Lewis (ankle), CB Kenny Moore (knee) OUT; S Malik Hooker (knee) DOUBTFUL; CB Pierre Desir (hamstring), DE Justin Houston (calf), OG Quenton Nelson QUESTIONABLEIt's an AFC South battle that will either strengthen the Texans' hold on the No. 1 spot in the division, or force them to swap places with the Colts at No. 2. There is no question injuries will help determine the outcome of this game, and especially for the Colts if Nelson and Hooker don't take the field. That's two key pieces on either side of the ball who could make things difficult for the Texans, but things aren't exactly rosy for Houston, either. With both Howard and Mancz ruled out, their already struggling offensive line will be further handicapped against the Colts, who get Darius Leonard back from concu sion; and Leonard is champing at the bit to put his hands on all comers. Roby was also downgraded to out by the Texans on Saturday. at (-17)Dolphins:C (knee), DE (ankle) OUT; WR (hamstring), CB (knee) QUESTIONABLEBills:CB (hamstring), LB (hamstring), LB (ankle) QUESTIONABLEThe Bills are hoping to take advantage of health concerns on Howard, even if he does take the field. Having one of the thinnest injury reports in the league and concerns for no offensive players, it could be a big day for and Co. if either Howard or Mo s can't take the field. Milano is looking to find his first interception of the season when Fitzpatrick -- now named starter in Miami -- takes the field, but it'll be a challenge if he's nursing a bad wheel. (-2) at Vikings:LB Ben Gedeon (concu sion) OUT; LB (hamstring) QUESTIONABLELions:DT (foot), CB (knee) OUT; FB (back), DB Tage Thompson Women Jersey (hamstring), DL (elbow), CB (hamstring), OT (knee) QUESTIONABLEComing off a gut-wrenching and controversial lo s to the NFC North rival Packers, the Lions won't have time to lick their wounds -- neither proverbial nor literal. They enter this game as underdogs against another division rival in the Vikings, and on their own field, but a large part of that is due to the slate of injuries to key players they're dealing with. One of, if not the biggest name here is Slay, who'll be tasked with trying to contain Stefon Diggs, who is suddenly white-hot. The Vikings are mostly healthy and looking to string together three consecutive wins after being written off after Week 4. It's a beat up Lions defense against a surging Kirk Cousins and Co., and that doesn't bode well for Detroit. at (-5)Raiders:DE Arden Key (knee), WR Tyrell Williams (foot) OUT; OT Trent Brown (calf) DOUBTFUL; WR Dwayne Harris (ankle), OG Gabe Jackson (knee) QUESTIONABLEPackers:WR Davante Adams (toe), S Darnell Savage (ankle) OUT; TE Robert Tonyan (hip) DOUBTFUL; WR Geronimo Allison (concu sion, chest), CB Tony Brown (hamstring), DL Kenny Clark (calf), WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) QUESTIONABLEPretty soon, Aaron Rodgers is going to have to throw pa ses to himself. Adams will be absent yet another week with turf toe, but the Packers are now unsure if Allison can go, or how impactful he or Valdes-Scantling could be in the event they do. Allison was upgraded to questionable on Saturday, improving his chances of helping an exceedingly thin receiving corps. The Raiders can definitely take advantage, with most of their injuries being relegated to their offense. Not having Brown on the field, if he's ruled out eventually, will swing the door wide open for those Packers edge rushers, though. (-4.5) at Jaguars:WR (ankle), TE (concu sion, ankle) OUT; WR (shoulder) QUESTIONABLEBengals:WR A.J. Green (ankle), LT (concu sion), CB (shoulder), CB (knee), DE (hamstring), RG (groin), LT (ankle) OUT; DE DOUBTFULThe first thing you'll notice in this matchup is the absence of both Jackson and Kirkpatrick, but help is on the way for the Bengals. They activated former first-round pick from the physically unable to perform list on Friday, and he'll likely get the start against the Jaguars, who will depend that much more on D.J. Chark with Lee sidelined and questions on the health of Westbrook. It's yet another week for the Bengals without Green, and that will again stre s and the pa sing attack, with the Jaguars pa s rush making things that much more difficult. (-3) at Rams:LB Clay Matthews (jaw) OUT; RB Malcolm Brown (ankle) DOUBTFULFalcons:CB Desmond Trufant (toe) OUTTwo names immediately jump out at you here, and they're , namely Todd Gurley and the newly-acquired Jalen Ramsey. The former has been nursing a quad injury but participated fully in practice on Friday, and the latter mi sed his last few games with the Jaguars through Week 6 with back i sues. Ramsey is miraculously healed now that he's in a Rams uniform, though, and that's bad news for Matt Ryan and a Falcons pa sing attack that's been inconsistent this season. Ramsey will likely travel all day with Julio Jones, making that matchup to watch in this game. at (-2.5)Chargers:S (hamstring), RB (calf), DL (shoulder), DL (knee) OUT; DE (hamstring) DOUBTFUL; K Michael Badgley (groin) QUESTIONABLETitans:LB (shoulder), CB (calf) OUT; LB (groin) DOUBTFUL; Colin Miller Women Jersey DE (hamstring), TE (ankle), LB (knee) QUESTIONABLEFew teams in the NFL are as beat up as the Chargers, and Adderley is set to join both Jones and Mebane in street clothes, handicapping the Los Angeles defense in a big way. Making matters worse is the status of Ingram, who the team isn't optimistic about for Sunday. With Ryan Tannehill getting the nod in Tenne see as starter, he'll face a defense hampered by injury, but the Titans defense isn't exactly good to go, either. With Milton and Finch both out, and Brown doubtful, this game could be quite QB-friendly. at (-3)Ravens:CB Jimmy Smith (knee) DOUBTFUL; WR Marquise Brown (ankle), CB Maurice Canady (thigh), LB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle), CB Anthony Averett (ankle), OT Ronnie Stanley (knee) QUESTIONABLESeahawks: TE Will Di sly (Achilles) OUT; S Lano Hill Josh Gorges Men Jersey (elbow) DOUBTFUL; OT Duane Brown (bicep), S Bradley McDougald (back), DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle), OG D.J. Fluker (hamstring), DE Quinton Jefferson (oblique) QUESTIONABLEWhile "Hollywood" Brown hasn't been ruled out for this contest, it bears mentioning he did not participate in any practice this week with his ankle injury. It's po sible the Ravens simply gave him the week off to rest in the hopes of that being more productive than forcing practice reps on him, but it also shows he's far from 100 percent right now. The same applies for Canady, who's a key piece of the Ravens secondary. The veteran cornerback didn't practice this week, either, and his status remains in the air for now. If he can't go, it'll make stopping Ru sell Wilson and his band of merry men on offense that much more difficult. The Seahawks must first make sure they can protect Wilson, though, because both McDougald and Fluker aren't penciled in for this game just yet. at (-3.5)Saints:QB Drew Brees (thumb), RB Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle), TE Jared Cook (ankle), DE Trey Hendrickson (neck), WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) OUT Bears:OL (knee), DT (hand, knee), QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) QUESTIONABLEThe Saints are already without Brees, and that's a storm they've weathered thanks to Teddy Bridgewater, but they'll now face Khalil Mack and one of the best defenses in the league without their most dynamic weapon outside of Brees. With Kamara ruled out, it'll be a much taller task to keep the Bears defense off-balance, and that makes them an easy start for fantasy football. For Chicago, not ruling out Trubisky provides at least some semblance of hope he can take the field, but the question of just how effective he'd be if he did still looms. (-10) at 49ers:DL D.J. Jones (hamstring), FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee), OT Mike McGlinchey (knee), WR Deebo Samuel (groin), OT Joe Staley (fibula), CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot) OUT; RB Raheem Mostert (knee) QUESTIONABLE Redskins:S (ankle), LB (hamstring), OL (chest) OUT; CB (thigh, hand) QUESTIONABLE It tells you just how bad the Redskins are and how dominant the Niners have been that they'd enter this contest as 10-point favorites with the list of injuries they have to impact players. Staley and McGlinchey being ruled out creates protection i sues for Jimmy Garoppolo, and Samuel will be sidelined with his continued battle against a groin injury, stealing a receiving weapon away. For the Redskins, still underdogs despite all of this, now have concerns regarding the health of Norman -- their best corner that hasn't even remotely played like it in recent memory. at (-2.5)Eagles:LB Nigel Bradham (ankle), WR (abdomen), DT Tim Jernigan (foot), CB (concu sion, neck), OT (knee), RB (quad) OUT; CB (hamstring) QUESTIONABLE Cowboys:CB (hamstring) OUT; WR (ankle, quad), DE (neck), OT (knee), WR (back), CB (hamstring), C (back), OG (back, ankle), OT Tyron Smith (ankle) QUESTIONABLEThe Cowboys at least have optimism surrounding the potential return of both Smith and Collins to secure the edges, and there's a good chance Cobb returns to the lineup this week as well. Cooper is questionable but has longer odds than Cobb to play, and will be evaluated ahead of kickoff. The latter goes for Jones as well, and the Cowboys need him on the field with Brown ruled out. Martin is expected to play, despite having been given time off to rest his ongoing back i sue. The Eagles will have a hard time fielding players this Sunday, contrarily, with Jackson's absence instantly shrinking the field for Wentz, and the team's virtually absent secondary staying that way with Darby and Maddox ruled out. Lastly, keep your eye on this week, because he's been wrecking shop and won't face Jason Peters on Sunday, but instead first-round pick . (-10) at Patriots:WR Josh Gordon (knee, ankle), TE Matt LaCo se (knee), TE Ryan Izzo (concu sion) OUT; RB Rex Burkhead (foot), WR Julian Edelman (chest), WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring), WR Gunner Olszewski (hamstring), S Patrick Chung (heel, chest) QUESTIONABLE Jets:LB Albert McLellan (concu sion) OUT; DL Henry Anderson (shoulder), OL Kelvin Beachum (ankle), RB Trenton Cannon (foot, ankle), TE Chris Herndon (hamstring), LB Neville Hewitt (neck, knee), OL Kelechi Osemele (shoulder) DOUBTFUL; CB Nate Hairston (knee), OL Ryan Kalil (shoulder), OL Alex Lewis (neck), DL Steve McLendon (hamstring), LB C.J. Mosley (groin), CB Darryl Roberts (ankle), WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring), OL Brian Winters (shoulder, knee) QUESTIONABLEThe Patriots will have to make do without Gordon at receiver, and he's not the only player at his position dealing with an injury as the team's other top two wideouts were ruled questionable. Both Edelman and Dorsett appear to be on track to play after a week of limited practices. The Jets have a ton of injury concerns heading into this matchup. Osemele is mired in a showdown with the team over his shoulder injury, and Beachum's absence will Jimmy Vesey Jersey move rookie Chuma Edoga over to the blind side. Mosley has already said he'll return to action this week.
